Our New Weblog

The purpose of this new blog is to improve communications between the members of our little club. Since this is my first attempt at this sort of thing, don't be surprised if something doesn't work like you think it should. If you bookmark this site, I hope that with some diligence on my part, you can easily inform yourself about our matches and other events. Also, there is the possibility of some interchange either through emailing your thoughts, charts, pictures, spreadsheets, etc. to the email address (utss96@gmail.com) or by responding to the blog posts through the comments. One of my hopes is that with improved communications, there will be better planning and fewer conflicts resulting in greater participation at our matches. Gone are the days, alas, when an absent Schuetze could be fined a quarter barrel of beer for missing practice as it would lessen our pain at your absence.

In the next few days, we will post the plans for the July match. Tentatively, we are planning a hundred yard match at the PMAA range up Parley's Canyon. with the possibility of a side match and some other fun. It should be much cooler than at the Lee Kay Center and I think that you will enjoy its rustic alpine charm. Gaylord Smith, President-for-Life emeritus and now our Treasurer is spearheading this event. Watch this space.

Please send on to me any email addresses of persons who might be interested in this blog and, if you are experienced with Blogger, a phone number where you can be reached night or day.
